Lively Turquoise and Purple Makes a Statement in Largo

Cheers to Ronit and Jay

Sometimes the mood of a celebration is set by the vibrancy of the couple themselves. Such was the case for Ronit and Jay's all indoor ceremony and reception at The Event Hall. After a series of set-backs during the planning, they kept moving forward with positive feelings and amazing support from family.

This was our first experience working with this venue, nestled within a small office park in Largo. The owners made sure all of the couple's ideas were incorporated in lighting, set-up, and logistics.

Since Ronit and Jay lived outside of the Tampa Bay Area, they relied on us for helping with planning much of the decor details prior to the wedding. We were able to meet on several occasions to determine layouts and table design. Family and fun were very important to both of them. Most of Ronit's family including her mom, were from the Cincinnati area and were more than happy to communicate with them as well in helping with other "wedding related" aspects here.

The ceremony started out in the main room. Pre-set guest tables aligned the side walls with the guest chairs seating mostly on the dance floor facing the stage where the Jewish ceremony would be held.

As guests arrived, they were encouraged to sign in along the hallway to the ceremony area.

A nervous, but lovely bride was ready to make her entrance escorted by her mom.

The couple utilized our large wrought iron Chuppah and we decorated it with flowing fabrics. The Event Hall had many nice decor features including these columns with urns.

The celebration continued back in the main lobby area where guests picked up their place cards, enjoyed cocktails and nibbled on displayed hors d'oeuvres.

Our staff used the social hour time to reset the room moving guest tables, chairs and the sweetheart table into place.

Although Ronit had chosen very pale colors for her flowers, she wanted a vibrant mix of bright purple and turquoise for her chair bands, napkins and centerpieces.

Ronit provided purple orchid stems which our staff inserted into two of our glass cylinders on each guest table.

Our buffet located in the back of the main room.

Sweet Tweets Cakery provided the glittery three-tiered wedding cake with an adorable bride and groom topper.

It's all about the outcome in the spirit of celebrating a marriage!
