When it comes to hosting fun yet traditional wedding weekends at a private vacation rental home, The Ever After Estate and its sister properties, are "hands down" the best option for a couple to consider for their destination wedding.

Not only can you accommodate 100+ wedding guests, there are overnight sleeping rooms for 40+ family and friends all on site. The convenient Clermont vicinity is less than a 20 minute drive from ALL of Orlando's popular attractions and other overnight accommodations for additional guests.

Danielle and Bill decided to host their destination wedding at The Ever After Estate to create a fun, casual atmosphere - free of the formalities that they may have experienced with a traditional celebration at a resort or hotel.

A native of Florida, Danielle, relied on her mom, Deena, who still lived in the Crystal River area to attend to all of the details of planning the wedding. Danielle, an accomplished song writer and singer in Nashville, was not fussy about her details. But her savvy engagement picture set the tone for the color scheme for her wedding day . .  hot pink and neon green.

Although our original design started out with all white table linens with pops of hot pink, neon green and yellow, Danielle and her sister added black and white striped over lays. Centerpieces were a combination of various sizes of white wine bottles from both Deena and our in-house inventory. We also furnished round mirrors, votive candle holders and two smaller glass cubes. Carmen's Flowers provided loose stems of colorful flowers that we fashioned into each of the centerpieces.

Deena attended numerous meet-ups and tastings to help create a whimsical palette of décor she knew her daughter would embrace. Danielle and Bill were able to attend an afternoon of consultations in Tampa, that included us so that we could focus on her menu and event design. But she trusted her mom to make final decisions.

The unique, themed interior of the Ever After Estate main house and its two other on-site quarters, provided awesome staged photo opportunities.

Estate Owner, Andrew Greenstein, built the home for his children to compliment the fanciful lifestyle of the Orlando theme park area. Its interiors are enhanced with global vignettes and "movie themed" décor. The grounds offer interactive games, small carousels, miniature golf, and water-inspired activities.

It is a fun wedding couple's paradise in the hands of an experienced photographer.

The wedding day began with getting ready tasks in the master bedroom area - spacious enough for all of Danielle's girls . . . including her mom, who was her Matron of Honor.

Bill and his guys gathered in a guest house nearby to get ready, watch college sports, and joke around to break the ice on the formalities of the day.

The day prior we catered the rehearsal dinner hosted by Bill's parents. It featured Cajun cuisine for about 35 family and bridal party members in attendance.

It was decided that the ceremony would be a very solemn, religious event. Bill and his groomsmen constructed a backdrop in the shape of the cross. It was simply decorated and was accompanied by an exchange of wine during the nuptials.

All tables, chairs, linens, and décor are included in our packages

As guests arrived, Maryn, one of our service staffers, greeted everyone and distributed program fans.

As part of our Private Home Event Services Package, we provided coordination of the rehearsal and ceremony. This included cueing bridal party members.

During social hour on the back patio, we butler-passed an assortment of hot and cold appetizers as guests enjoyed libations from the Tiki Bar. Our inclusive services include bartenders, all mixers, cups, ice, garnishes and clients furnish the alcohol.

Danielle paused to take pictures with her mom, Deena.

After social hour, guests moved to the tent for the main reception.

Centerpiece of the buffet-style meal was our popular Paella, made from scratch in our huge pan just before serving.

Another favorite entrée was our Carved Roast Baron of Beef.

Blushing Outdoor Celebration at a Private Estate

Alexa and Chris
Selected Photos by Christine Kozkik of Dove Photography

Private estate weddings here in Florida have their "ups" and "downs." We were very fortunate to have a two-year stretch hosting celebrations at Villa Adriana before it discontinued doing events due to zoning issues.

This picture-perfect location featured a sprawling 7-bedroom mansion adjacent to a private lake and 40 x 100 event terrace. Clients rented the entire location for a minimum of four days for total privacy for wedding party members and family.

But this story is really about a beautiful exchange of vows between Alexa and Chris who dedicated their dreams toward a wedding weekend surrounded by close family and friends. Many ventured from far away; others were came a short distance from Brooksville, their hometown.

We are especially proud of our role in helping Alexa achieve her "dream wedding" through options for in-house linens and décor. This would be coupled with amazing fresh florals created by Trisha Beckleheimer of Westovers Flowers.

When Alexa first booked her February wedding with us, she let me know that her full-time mother duties would delay her "full wedding planning mode" several months. Once our discussions got real, things fell into place, including her color scheme of blush pink, ivory, and champagne.

Alexa and I communicated often and everything came together after we shared sample decor for her alternating round and long guest tables at our studio. She and her mom, Sonia, were eager to see how everything could be put together.

Alexa and Chris created a special place in the wedding for their daughter, Zoey. She was a part of everything including a touching "getting ready" session captured by their photographer.

Guests entered through the front of the mansion and made their way to the back terrace over-looking the lakefront ceremony area.

Alexa and her mom shared some special moments prior to the ceremony. Alexa and Chris came up with the idea of a "family tree" filled with pictures near the wedding.

Instead of traditional aisle décor, the couple chose Bible passage signs. The backdrop was a spacious view of the lake framed by two large flower urns transferred to the entrance of the tent for the main reception.

Vicki of Beachangel Weddings performed the ceremony.

The social hour was held on the pool deck and back terrace.

For introductions, Alexa and Chris chose to have everyone gather around the pool and they did their first dance in the pavilion.

Guests made their way to the event terrace for the main reception. Guest tables alternated between rounds and rectangulars filled with blush and champagne décor features.

Congratulations to Alexa and Chris!
