The Grinch Could Not Steal this Holiday Party

Gulfcoast Medical Centers'
Annual Holiday Celebration

Who can resist a iconic themed holiday party that focuses on fun and the unexpected? We took the challenge for this lime green and red celebration for Gulfcoast Medical Center at a private home in Hudson. The real challenge was that it was held in the airplane hangar behind the house!

Office manager, Tina, enlisted several key staffers to create a huge Christmas tree in the center of the raw space of a small airplane hangar on the property. We built everything including guest seating, around this centerpiece.

We utilized a variety of our in-house centerpieces to create some dramatic variations on the theme. These ranged from our gold candlelabras to traditional hurricane globes. Guest tables also varied in shape and size for this 120-person party.

Despite the chilly weather, many guests decided to brave the outdoors.

We themed much of the menu around the Dr. Seuss story book including the baked brie with granny smith apples.

We made food descriptions that rhymed like the "Grinch" story lines.

We even served Smoked Salmon Pate Canapes on a wood sled!

Our own "elf," Rita clowned around in the kitchen.
