Express Yourself

Ashley and Dennis: Jan. 21, 2011
Reception at The Palmetto Club

A WEDDING DAY SUITED TO A
MODERN DAY PRINCESS

Zebra, Hot Pink and Black for a bride that wants everything her
wedding day elegant and tasteful?

NO PROBLEM.

Mom, Tina, made certain all of her first wedded daughter's wishes were granted.
From subltle hints of zebra prints to vivid hot pink uplighting in her reception area,
this bride's wedding day was fillled with fulfilled expectations.
She entrusted us to make certain all elements fell into place along with her trusted
dj, florist, and event site.

From a studded broach adorning a rounded card box to simple hot pink pom fron
signing pens, this princess was surrounded by familiar elements her mother knew were important aspects of her life.

The open foyer of The Palmetto Club lent itself to a colorful palette of zebra, hot pink, and black designs for the social hour that included a place card table, gift table, welcome drink display, hors d'oeuvres display, and wine and beer bar with specialty drinks.

Instead of a traditional poured best man's toasting drink,
the client opted for a Welcome Champagne concoction in the pre-reception area,

High top tables lined the foyer area of the Palmetto Club

The large oblong foyer table became the centerpiece of the entry
area for welcome drinks and a gift station.

The client provided an amazing assortment of containers filled with color enchancing
options to fill custom imprinted boxes to take home sweet treats.
Kent, our bride's Event Designer, helped to create a hot pink hue filling the main reception ballroom with lighting provided by her dj and our backdrop elements. The sequence of event design was acheived through the creative on-site skills of our Event Coordinator, Bradley
and his talented staff.

Even though the Palmetto Club has an inventory of sleek, hard-to-fit ballroom chairs, when paired with higher priced chair covers they dominate the main reception area.
Catering By Robert's festivate buffet station included zebra print overlays atop hot pink and black base cloths. White sail fabric with pink up lighting created an opulent backdrop.

The three tiered wedding cake was highlighted in hot pink from LED lights in nine small square containers filled with crystals holding up a glass platform.

Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed the conversation and custom cigar rolling of Mr. Sam. Samples were offered for smoking appreciation on the verandah outside the building.
Don't ever hesitate to express you and your fiance's personalities and emotions via your wedding day. It is one of the few times in your life that you will be afforded this opportunity.
UNTIL NEXT TIME . . .
