Davis Islands Garden Club became a tropical setting for Catherine and Indika's Oct. 30th partial destination wedding. Even though the couple first met away at college, they "hailed" from the same hometown, Tampa.Most of their planning was done long distance from North Carolina. The elements we pulled together for the couple had a lot to do with their backgrounds. For Catherine it was her career as a tropical botanist, and for Indika, it was his Sri Lanka heritage.
Here's some pictures of this beautiful, colorful celebration. Contrasting white in linens and chair covers definitely had an impact on the design elements that gave the wedding character.
