Despite the distance Rossy and I shared in planning her spring wedding reception at the St. Petersburg Women's Club, her thoughtful, consistent communications made her celebration a success. I titled Rossy and Sebastian's entry with sugar and spice because she was one of the "sweetest brides" ever. Her decor was sprinked with "spice" in utilizing a whole range of pink hues with platinum / gray accents.

Although she and Sebastian resided in Texas, Rossy's parents lived here in Florida. Whenever we had an open house or tasting, mom and dad were diligent in attending and reporting back to their daughter. This also aided the couple in deciding their final menu which reflected a bit of the couple's combined Puerto Rican and Peruvian heritage.

Rossy was able to make just a few visits here to pull together many planning details. Needless to say, she accomplished most everything via email with me and other vendors.

The venue lent itself to to Rossy's pink color scheme - both outside and inside. The couple had a formal church wedding nearby.

Once guests arrived at the reception location, they were greeted with many personalized features chosen by Rossy. From special signage to the smallest of embellishments, Rossy entrusted our staff to fashion and place everything she provided for the reception.

The bar was set up on the outdoor veranda and hand-passed appetizers were offered to the guests. Two of our features were mini meatballs skewered with pretzel sticks and our popular brushetta.

The entry area contained a sign in table, along the photo booth, and gift/card table.

A1 Foliage provided beautiful lighted ficus trees and ferns for the stage and side walls. The pink curtain on the stage matched perfectly!

Guest tables were decorated in white floor length cloths with gray pintuck runners and alternating gray and light pink napkins. We provided glass cylinders and bubble bowls on every other table. They purchased wholesale pink-tipped hydrangea stems which we placed. Our white chair covers were tied with light pink sashes.

We added more vivid colors of hot pink and platinum to the buffet area adjacent to the ballroom.

The four-tiered wedding cake had pale hints of pink and a fresh hydrangea topper. Each layer had a different texture. We utilized three different colors to top the table.

Rossy provided lots of "bling" elements for designer-event coordinator, Kent Billiter to work with.Water beads filled the inside of the vases and hanging crystals adorned the outside.

A combination of clear and light pink crystals were scattered on our mirror squares. Rossy even provided the guests with table-side entertainment of "I Spy."

We loved, loved, loved the huge Mrs. and Mr. blocks for the sweetheart table and we interspersed more of Rossy's candle-crystal embellishments on top.

Congratulations to Rossy and Sebastian on the perfect pink wedding!
