Garden Vintage Reception at the Tampa Garden Club

Allie and Phil
Navy, Blush and Gold

Selected Photos by Ailyn Latorre Photography

For any brides and grooms considering navy blue coupled with a finishing touch of blush, Allie and Phil's celebration at the Tampa Garden Center prove to be a timeless color combination.

The couple opted for a traditional church ceremony. Their theme was "vintage garden," so they were thankful to find that the Tampa Garden Club had floor to ceiling windows that offered spectacular  views without guests having to outside be in the muggy June heat.

The weather was pleasant enough for post ceremony pictures in the club's garden areas. Social hour was held in the conservatory.

We worked with Allie to incorporate vintage elements through the use of our in-house lace overlays and her tabletop accents.

One of our favorite florists, Carmen of Carmen's Flowers, created a garden-scape of bouquets and centerpieces with blush and ivory roses.

Guest tables were covered in floor length navy linens and topped with gold chargers and a combination of ours and Allie's gold votive holders surrounding the Carmen's urns of garden flowers.

Lace favor boxes and napkins pulled in the ivory from the gold chiavari chair cushions to put a perfect balance of color on each guest table.

Outside garden elements were reflected by various greenery items provided by A1 Foliage.

Many sweet memories from Allie and Phil's wedding!

Savvy Turquoise and Black Celebration at the Tampa Garden Club

Jen and Jesse

I have to admit I was a little skeptical when Jennifer shared her wedding colors with us during her design meeting. A bright turquoise color mixed with black against the tall white walls of the Tampa Garden Club? But when we featured her sample table during one of our open houses, I was a believer!

Jen's event designer, Jamie, and I added in a black and white damask printed runner to the all black table. Coupled with the bride's furnished white hydrangeas in our cylinders, there was just enough POP of white on the table to make the entire room looked totally awesome.

Jen and Jesse's wedding began with an outdoor ceremony in the garden area. The arbor was simply decorated with two white and blue hydrangea arrangements. We covered a small table with turquoise linen for the sand ceremony items.

Our black wrought iron shepherd hooks lined the aisle way holding stems of client-provided white hydrangea blooms in our small black wrought iron holders.

The social hour was held inside the conservatory where we decorated the sign-in/place card table in similar colors. Jen used the similar black damask pattern for her card box and other DIY items. Guests signed a large monogrammed "B." This table was later used for a candy station.

Inside the room, uplit palm trees from A1 Foliage, graced the perimeter of the ballroom.

We did a Fajita Station as part of the couple's main dinner. There were plenty of toppings so guests could customize their entree.

The wedding cake was a three tiered square cake with hints of bling which we added to the decorating of the table featuring it.

The candy station was a sweet ending to the reception for Jen and Jesse.
