Shabby Chic Styling at Covington Farm

Jessie and Anthony

When your bride is an event professional, you know that her wedding day will be over-the-top with personalization and a focus on hands-on styling all her own.

Our staff easily adapts to such senarios. We love when clients want to take the lead and we follow with support for table décor arrangements!

Jessie and Anthony planned their wedding from the Detroit area with much support from Jessie's mom, Debbie. Jessie is originally from Tarpon Springs where her parents still live. Jess fell in love with Covington Farm in Dade City. It matched her vision for a shabby chic motif that incorporated much of her newly adopted home in Michigan.

The week of the wedding, the couple brought fresh Michigan pine that would be the focal point of their farm table décor. We had met during one of her trips here to hammer out the rest of the farm table settings that included an assortment of mix and match accessories from both our inventory and hers.

Jessie chose a burgundy, gold, and champagne color scheme with hints of rose and deep peach.

All décor was perfectly orchestrated to match Jessie and Anthony's expectations days in advance of the wedding so the couple and their families could enjoy the excitement of the wedding day. Our staff was their eyes and ears for everything from the ceremony decorating to the set up of their multiple dessert station.

Being able to casually get ready at the barn's upstairs suites, gave Jess and Anthony time to spend with close family.

Special moments were for opening gifts and "chilling" with family.

It was extremely important to Jessie and Anthony that there was a huge level of comfort and unscripted moments in their celebration. I remember Jessie telling me that "as long as things happen, even spontaneously, that is what matters."

Social hour provided time for formal pictures along with hors d'oeuvres, open bar and fun and games.

Inside the main room, more interesting displays and table décor offered guests more insight on the things Jessie and Anthony embraced as a couple. From a loving memorial table to even Jessie's mom's wedding dress, personalization was every inch of the indoor space.

Jessie wanted every guest table free-flowing and highlighted with a variety of centerpieces.

Each guest had a personalized guest place card pre-set with attached Michigan pinecone. Our antique ivory chargers were also chosen for each setting.

The couple chose our Gold Medallion menu with a featured pasta action station along with whipped potato toppings.

Instead of one dessert, the couple chose a huge assortment of cakes and confectionaries.

We provided a variety of runners, lace overlays and glittery fabrics to accent various tables.

The couple spent the night in the bridal suite waking up to "second sample" their wedding cake. The photographer returned to capture more special moments.
