Sarah and Matt

Oh, my gosh. Sarah and Matthew's wedding was a breath of fresh air in their approach to every aspect of their planning.
Even though it was to be held during the Christmas holidays, Sarah never felt obligated to stray from her black, gold, and ivory color scheme. Even when "faced off" with the City of Lakeland's annual Lake Mirror decorations, they stuck with their elegant, vintage theming.

Even though it was to be held during the Christmas holidays, Sarah never felt obligated to stray from her black, gold, and ivory color scheme. Even when "faced off" with the City of Lakeland's annual Lake Mirror decorations, they stuck with their elegant, vintage theming.
Sarah felt comfortable getting ready at a nearby location - the famed Terrace Hotel just blocks away.
Once guests arrived, they were directed to the lakefront ceremony location.
Sarah and Matt chose a simple ceremony backdrop on Mirror with two larger urns and florals from Taylor Made Designs.

Inside the Magnolia Building, we were busy placing the elements planned earlier during Sarah and Matt's meetings with us. This included the entry tables for the guest sign in and fire place mantle with selected and decor provided by the couple.
Inside the main room, we decorated gift, placecard, and other tables in champagne linens with black and gold accents.
Guest tables were covered in black tablecloths accented with wide gold damask runners provided by Sarah's mom. Centerpieces alternated between custom vases and arrangements by Taylor Made Designs and our trio of glass cylinders with submerged fresh flower stems.
The bride's mom acquired beautiful gold organza damask runners for all guest tables.
Sarah and Matt loved the idea of a "fun" bar and provided
extra signage and
props to make it truly fun.
Their wedding cake was non-traditional with a unique display of mini cupcakes and a surprising groom's cake for t hose with a sweet touch. Sarah surprised her fiance with a special groom's cake all his own.
We loved that Sarah gave us flexibility in placing "other decor items" she had the day of the wedding.
The rosette "design" played well into our buffet decor.
It was a magical evening for Sarah and Matt. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your celebration.
