Colleen and Bruce, both from the Scottsdale area, decided on the Clearwater Beach area for their wedding after many wonderful visits to party, chill out, and casually enjoy the beach lifc offered by the area.
Upon so many visits they realized their wedding budget would expand so much further if they selected local wedding vendors including us.
Colleen took the reins and let us know all of the things that were sincerely important to her and Bruce. They definitely wanted a fun weekend filled with activities and personalization. Besides including lots of beach décor, they focused on waterfront elements. The ceremony was held on Honeymoon Island while the reception was hosted at the Clearwater Recreation Center on intercoastal waters. They provided all shuttle services - by land and sea.
Since Colleen and Bruce vacationed at Shepherd's Beach Resort they hired three of their dancers to great guests as they arrived via ferry shuttle from the ceremony.
The hour and half social hour was held outdoors on the deck and grassy lawn. They provided over-sized beach balls, lawn games, and waterfront seating when guests arrived.
They loved the opportunity to purchase their own alcohol which we served at two bars
indoors and out.
Colleen started with basic "beachy" elements to create just the right atmosphere for guests who traveled many miles to celebrate with she and Bruce. She encased sand and shells in blue mason jars and attached guest place cards to each.
She acquired fresh florals from a local company and had many DIY contents shipped to us the weeks prior to the wedding. These included tabletop pictures, signage, glass bottles and much, more. It was our job to sort, place and pack everything up at the end of the evening.
The turquoise, aqua, white, and silver accents, created an awesome tablescape that everyone enjoyed once they arrive at the Clearwater Community Center. Colleen chose to have two walls of the main room draped along with the hallway from the front door. Blue uplights were provided by DeLite Entertainment.
Our popular sail structures provided a backdrop behind the head table without totally hiding the view of the water.
One of the few requests Bruce had was for gold fish inside our brandy snifter centerpieces.
The couple chose our Taste Around menu for their reception dinner which included a whipped potato station, our tropical Paella, and of course seafood.
Hand-passed hors d'oeuvres during social hour were crab stuffed mushroom caps, baked brie squares, teriyaki chicken skewers,
and Coconut Shrimp.
Besides wedding cake, we provided an ice cream station with various toppings served in small beach buckets.
